The French Impressionism painter Felix Ziem. Born in
Beaune, France in 1821. Start study at the Architecture Academy in
Dijon, but not for long because Ziem not have disciplines that time. He
went to Rome, Naples and Venice. Ziem rented in 1845 a boat and made it
his atelier in Venice, Italy. He travelled back to Paris and exhibited
his Venice paintings at the Salon in 1849. He was a frequently exhibitor
till 1868. He made also a travel to Holland around 1890. The French
painter Ziem died in Paris, France in 1911. |
