The Irish Modernist painter Jack Butler Yeats. Born in
London, England in 1871. Son of the Irish portraitist John Butler Yeats.
He worked first as an illustrator for some magazines. Around 1920, he
moved the illustration to symbolism. Really sympathetic with his
paintings to the Irish republic. The Irish painter was apart, he no take
pupils and no One was allowed to watch him painting. An unique figure in
the painting world. The Irish painter Butler Yeats died in Dublin in
1957. |
