Short biography of the the Polish painter Zygmunt Waliszewski.

The Polish painter Zygmunt Waliszewski born in Saint Petersburg, 1897. He moved with his family in 1907 to Tbilisi. At the Art school there he had his first lessons. Waliszewski traveled to Moscow a several times and had a great interest for the Russian Futurists and became also a member of this group. He settled in Krakow, Poland in the beginning of the 1920's, where he studied in Krakow at the Academy of Fine Arts till 1824. Also worked in the Art shops of Josef Pankiewics and Wojciech Weiss. The Polish painter went to Paris in 1924. He worked in several work shops and made copies of famous old masters. Returned in 1931 to Poland and the painter died in 1936.
