The German portrait painter Franz Xaver
Winterhalter born in Mensenschwad, Germany, 1805. He start to study
paintings art at the Monaco Academy. When he painted Grand Duke Leopold
his portrait in 1835 his career as a painter began. Winterhalter painted
portraits for the Royal Families of France, England and Belgium. He made
more then hundred art works for the Royal family of England from 1842.
The Famous portrait painter Franz Xaver Winterhalter died in Frankfurt,
Germany, 1873.
