Short biography from the Italian Renaissance painter Paolo Uccello ( 1397 - 1475 ).

The Renaissance painter Paolo Uccello aka Paolo di Dono, the bird, born in 1397, Firenze, Italy. They called him the bird because the love Uccello had for animals. Paolo Uccello was already learning in the work shop of Lorenzo Ghiberti, a sculptor. Many artists and painters were trained there but that's all what we know about his early training to became a painter. Uccello worked as a Master mosaicist in Venice from 1425 till 1431. All works lost. He painted a monochrome fresco for the Cathedral in Florence in 1436. Uccello was a great fresco painter in Italy, especially in Florence. A Renaissance painter who used perspectives in his art works. The Italian painter Paolo Uccello died at the age from 78 in Firenze, 1475.
