The Flemish Baroque Still Life painter Adriaen van Utrecht.
Born in Antwerp, Belgium in 1599. In 1614 he entered the studio of the
painter Herman de Neyt. He travelled through Europe as Germany, France
and Italy. Returned in 1625 to Antwerp and became a free Master and
member of the Guild of Saint Luke. From 1626 till 1646 the painter van
Utrecht had his own studio and was specializing in painting still
life's. Adriaen van Utrecht's paintings are represented at any places in
the world. The Flemish painter Adriaen van Utrecht died in 1652.
