The Flemish Landscape painter David Teniers the
Younger. Born in Antwerp, Belgium in 1610. Son of David Teniers the
Elder, also a well know painter. Became a Master in 1632 at the Guild of
St. Luke. The Flemish painter worked also for the Antwerp Guild of St.
George. This great master was the creator of the Antwerp Royal Academy
for Fine Arts. The famous Flemish painter died in Brussels, Belgium in
1690. |
