The English Animal painter George Stubbs. Born in
Liverpool, England in 1724. Got his first paintings
lessons from Hamlet Winstanley, a Lancashire painter in 1741. He start
to work as a portrait painter. Stubbs visited Italy in 1754 and in 1759
he moved to London, where he lived and worked for the rest of his life.
