The Russian genre and portrait painter Vasily Perov. Born in 1834 and also know as Vasily Grigoryevich Perov. One of the great Russian painters of the 1860's. Entered the Art School of Stupin in 1846. After that he studied from 1853 till 1861 at the Moscow Painting school. Perov studied also in Paris. The Russian painter died from tuberculosis in 1882.
