The Russian painter Kuzma Petrov Vodkin. Born in
Saratov Oblast (Khvalynsk), Russia in 1878. An Important and great
Russian painter and Soviet writer. Started at the Fedor Burov Art Class
in 1893. After his teacher Burov died in 1895 he went to St Petersburg
to Study Art. He stayed at the Paintings school Moscow. He travelled to
Munich and lived in France for a while. The Russian painter died in
February of tuberculosis, in Leningrad, Russia, 1939. |
