The Scottish portrait painter Sir William Quiller Orchardson.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1832. He went to the Edinburgh's Art
Trustee's Academy School on the early age of Fifteen. After that his
teacher was Robert Scott Lauder. Till 1862 he worked and stayed in
Edinburgh, that year he moved to London. He was elected of the
Associate of the Royal Academy in 1868. William Quiller Orchardson died
in London, England in 1910. |
