The Japanese Master painter Maruyama Okyo. Born in Kyoto, Japan in 1733. Try to be a monk, painted dolls and after he starts as a painter. One of the Edo period Master painters. The most popular Japanese painter of the 18th century. Had his painting lessons at the Kano School. After he starts his own school, the Maruyama School with painters as Nagasawa Rosetsu and Matsumura Goshun. The Japanese painter died in Kyoto, Japan in 1795.
