The Czechoslovakian painter Emil Orlik. Born in
Prague, 1870. Studied at the academy school for copperplate engraving
and the Munich Academy from 1891-1893. In 1896 he went to Munich where
he paint portraits. He traveled a lot and also make in 1900 a trip to
East Asia. In 1904 he moved to Vienna, to his studio. In 1908 went to
Berlin where he died in 1932. |
