The Russian Religion and portrait painter Mikhail Nesterov. Aka Mikhail Vasilyevich Nesterov, born in Ufa, Russia in 1862. Entered the Moscow School of Painting and Sculpture in 1876. After that, Mikhail Nesterov went to the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in 1881. Popular with religion themes and religion paintings. After this he started paint portraits.
