Short biography of the French painter Jan Piotr Norblin.

The French painter Jan Piotr Norblin. Aka Jean-Pierre Norblin de La Gourdaine. French born painter, draughtsman, drawing artist and engraver. Born in Misy sur Yonne in 1740. Trained in the studio of Francesco Casanova around 1769. Around 1772 the painter worked in London, Paris, Spa and Dresden. After in 1790 he was settled in Warsaw, Poland. Returned in 1804 to France where he died in Paris, 1830.
