Claude Monet was born in Paris, French in 1840. In Le Havre he grew up. The first lessons in paintings art he had from Mr. Eugene Boudin. The family of Claude Monet was unhappy for his interest in paintings. He went to Northern Africa in 1860 for two years. After that he had in Paris paintings lessons in the studio's of Gleyre. He met there Bazille, Renoir and Sisley. The born of the Impressionist painter was there. In 1870 Monet and his friend Pissarro go to London. He moved to Giverny in 1883, Claude Monet stay there and died on 25 December,1926.
