Short biography of the Russian Landscape painter Mikhail Lebedev.

The Russian Landscape painter Mikhail Lebedev, also know as Mikhail Ivanovich Lebedev. Born in Tartu in 1811. Lebedev studied at the Academy in St. Petersburg, with the whole full scholarship. Travelled to Italy in 1834 to paint Italian landscapes. The Russian painter died from cholera in Naples at the young age of 26 in 1837.
