Belgian Pointillist painter Georges Lemmen (1865 - 1916). Born in Schaerbeek, 1865. Studied for a short period and in 1880 influenced by Degas. The Belgian painter joined the "Les Vingt", Avant Garde group in Brussels in 1888. Travelled to Paris and England. His shows in Belgium, had a great success. The Belgian painter died in Ukkel, Belgium, 1916.
