The The Swiss Expressionist painter Paul Klee born in Munchenbuchsee, Switzerland, 1879. He started to study art at the School of Fine arts in Munich. After that he traveled to Bern and Italy and then he settled in Germany, Munich. Paul Klee met here some Avant Garde figures as Franz Marc and Wassily Kandinsky. He went to Tunisia in 1914 and to Egypt in 1928. Together with Feininger, Von Jawlensky and Kandinsky he formed the group The Blue Four (Die Blaue Vier). The Swiss Expressionist painter died in 1940, Muralto, Switzerland. |
