The Illustrator and Austrian Art Nouveau painter Gustav Klimt born in 1862, Baumgarten, Austria. In 1876 The Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt enrolled in the School of Arts and Crafts in Vienna. Till 1883 Klimt studied there. With his brother Ernst and Frans Matsch, a friend from both, they started to worked together. That was around 1880. The Austrian Art Nouveau painter became a member of the Universities of Munich and Vienna. In 1897 Gustav Klimt was the starter and the president of the Vienna Secession ( Wiener Sezession ) and the Sacred Spring ( Ver Sacrum ) groups till 1908. The Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt died in 1918. |
