The Flemish Baroque painter Jacob Jordaens born in Antwerp, Belgium, 1593. He studied under the teacher Adam van Noort. He was very close to the famous Master Rubens and worked several times in his work studio. Jacob Jordaens became the Master leader of the Art school in Antwerp after the death of Rubens. Together with van Dyck and Rubens they where the great Flemish Baroque painters. Jordaens died in Antwerp, Belgium, 1678. |
