Short biography from the American Realist painter Edward Hopper ( 1882 - 1967 ).

The printmaker and American Realist painter Edward Hopper born in 1882, Nyack, New York. The first teacher from him was Robert Henri. The Group of students painted American Art under the name of the Ashcan school. This was between 1900 till 1906. The style of Henri was much influenced later in the Art works from Hopper. Around 1906 - 1910 Hopper traveled three times to Europe to have more Art education. After that time he moved back to the United States and worked the most of his life in New York City. Sometimes he painted also in Truro, Massachusetts. He don't stopped painting till his dead. The Realist painter Edward Hopper died in his work shop in New York City, 1967.
