The High Renaissance painter Giorgione aka Giorgio Barbarelli da Castelfranco born in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy in 1477. Giorgione first Art teacher was Giovanni Bellini. We don't to much about the Venetian painter but later Giorgione had a own workshop where he worked together with Titian. They painted Frescoes together. The High Renaissance painter and Venetian painter Giorgione died in 1510 in Venice, Italy from a lethal disease ( probably plague ). |
