Short biography from the Dutch Baroque painter Aert de Gelder ( 1645 - 1727 ).
The Dutch painter Aert de Gelder born in Dordrecht,
Netherlands in 1645. The first lessons he had from Samuel van
Hoogstraten. From 1661 till 1667 he became the pupil of Rembrandt in his
workshop in Amsterdam. After that he moved back to his born city and
stay there for the rest of his life. His friend and Master had a great
influenced on the Art works from him. The Baroque painter Aert de Gelder
died in Dordrecht, 1727.
