Short biography from the Italian Realist painter Giovanni Fattori ( 1825 - 1908 ).
The Italian Realist painter Giovanni Fattori born
in Livorno, Italy in 1825. The first educations he had from Giuseppe
Baldini. In 1846 he went to Firenze, Florence and Giuseppe Bezzuoli
became his teacher. From 1850 Fattori visited often the popular painters
place Larga. He met in 1859 Giovanni Costa, a Roman Landscape painter.
Fattori was a member of the group Macchiaioli. He traveled in 1875 to
Paris, France. He worked for the Florentine Academy from 1869, Amedeo
Modigliani was one of his pupils. Fattori died in 1908, Florence.
