The Dutch Baroque painter Carel Fabritius born in 1622, Middenbeemster, the Netherlands. From beginning 1640's he started to study in Amsterdam at the studio of Rembrandt. He was a famous pupil from the Master Rembrandt. Fabritius moved early 1650's to Delft. In Delft he became a member of the Lucas Guild. October 1654 he died in an explosion, who destroyed the half of the city, included his work shop annex studio and many paintings works. Only a few art works survived. |
