The Russian painter Mstislav Dobuzhinsky aka Mstislav Valerianovich Dobuzhinsky born in Novgorod, 1875. First studied at the drawing school from 1885 till 1887 and later he studied law in St. Petersburg. Mstislav Dobuzhinsky was first an illustrator and became from 1903 an art artist. He visited France, Britain, German, Holland and Italy. That makes him a great cityscape art painter. Mstislav Dobuzhinsky immigrated to the United States in 1939. He died in 1957, New York. |
