The French Realist painter Honore Daumier, born in Marseilles, France in 1808. He moved to Paris in 1814 with his family. In 1822 Daumier start to studied Art, the lessons came from painter Alexandre Lenoir. He worked for Le Charivari and Caricature from Philipon in 1830. In 1831 he stayed in jail for 6 months because Honore Daumier satire of Gargantuan. The French Romantic painter made satirical drawings, history paintings, lithography cartoons and French deputies sculpture portraits. Daumier was a hard worker, he made a lot of paintings art works in his career. The Realist painter Honore Daumier died in 1879. |
