The German Northern Renaissance painter Albrecht Durer, the greatest German painter of the German Renaissance born in Nuremberg, 1471. He started with printings and drawings. From 1486 till 1489 Durer stayed in the work shop of Michael Wolgemut. He traveled a lot from 1490. Visited Italy and the Netherlands. Albrecht Durer met during his visits famous painters. He started in 1495 in Nuremberg his own work shop. The Renaissance painter died in Nuremberg in 1528. Albrecht Durer is the greatest painter and artist German ever know. |
