Short biography from the landscape painter, the English Landscape painter John Constable ( 1776 - 1837).

The English Landscape painter John Constable, born in 1776, East Bergholt, Suffolk. The first educations he had at the school of Dedham Grammar. John Thomas Smith and George Frost gave him lessons from 1796, John Constable studied the works from Gainsborough and start to like landscape paintings. He went to the Royal Academy School in 1970. He copied Landscapes from old Masters at that time. In 1826 he married and moved to London and worked there in his own studio. The Landscape painter John Constable died in 1837 when he worked at his last painting.
