Burne Jones born in 1833, Birmingham, England. The first
study of him was at King Edward's in Birmingham. Burne Jones moved over to the
Exeter college in Oxford in 1853. He met there his friend William Morris. In
1856 he also met Rossetti and Ruskin, Burne Jones and Morris left the school and
start their paintings career. At that time he was a Pre Raphaelitism artist.
After that his paintings get more monumental as Michelangelo and Botticelli, his
interest was great for this painters. That was at the end of the 1860's. Sir
Edward Burne Jones elected in 1890 at the Royal Academy. The English painter
died in Rottingdean, 1898. |
