The Dutch Mannerist painter Pieter Aertsen, born in 1508, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Mannerist painter was active in Antwerp, Belgium and his Amsterdam, Netherlands. Pieter Aertsen was a great master in genre paintings and still life's. Often he putted undertones of religious scenes in his arts. He had also two sons ( Pieter and Aert ), they became also painters. Pieter Aertsen pupil and nephew Joachim Beuckelaer was a talented painter from a long dynasty of artists where he was the leader from. The Dutch Mannerist painter Pieter Aertsen died in 1575.
