Short biography of the Russian painter Nathan Altman.

The Russian painter Nathan Isaiehvich Altman, born in Vinnitsa, Russia, Ukraine. From 1902 till 1907 he had his study at the Odessa Art school. After that he went back to Vinnitsa. In 1910 Nathan Altman moved to Paris. He stay there for 2 years and went to St. Petersburg, the Cubist artist became very popular and successful. He left to France in 1928 where he painted landscape paintings and still life's. Nathan Altman returned in 1935 back to Russia. The famous artist and Russian painter Nathan Altman died in 1970, Leningrad, St. Petersburg.
