The Italian Mannerist painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo,
Italian, born in the Milan Cathedral in 1527. The Italian painter used
also the names Joseph, Josephus, Josepho, Arcimboldus, Arcimboldi. All
variants Giuseppe Arcimboldo used it to sign his arts. When he was 22,
in 1549, he debut as an artist. He works for the cathedral in Milan till
1558. In 1562 he went to Vienna and after to Prague. He became a court
artist. In 1587 he went back to Milan. The Italian Mannerist painter
Giuseppe Arcimboldo died on the 11th of July 1593.
