The Italian Baroque painter Francesco Albani ( or Albano). A Draughtsman and an Italian Baroque painter from the 15th and 16th century. Born in Bologna, Italy. An artist from the Bolognese school. Francesco Albani had his first study with Denis Calvaert and later with Ludovicio Carracci. He worked and painted in Bologna and Rome. Paintings from Altarpieces decorations, cabinet pictures, fresco masterpieces, idyllic landscapes, pastoral and mythological paintings subjects. The Baroque painter Francesco Albani died in 1660. |
