The German Northern
Renaissance painter Albrecht Altdorfer. The painter Albrecht Altdorfer
was the first painter in landscape in the style of Western art. The
birthplace of him is unknown. The most time of his life he lived in
Regensburg, Germany, where he be in the city council as an architect. In
the 16th century, Altdorfer was the master of the artists from Germany,
the Danube school. We don't know about Altdorfer beginnings and his
trainings to became a painter. Albrecht Altdorfer traveled trough the
countries of the Alpine and also went to Italy. At 1526 till Altdorfer
death, he worked in Regensburg as a architect. No works from the
architectural were know. The German Northern Renaissance painter
Albrecht Altdorfer died in 1538. |
