Animal painter Jacques Laurent Agasse, English artist of Swiss birth. The first years he lived in the city of Crévin, where he interest in animals paintings and that was his later career as an artist in England. Jacques Laurent Agasse first lessons where in Geneva, Swiss and after he moved to Paris, French. He took there a study of a veterinary and dissections science. Agasse traveled to the UK, England at the end of the 18th century and became there one of the most celebrated painters and popular in animal oil paintings. The Animal painter Jacques Laurent Agasse lived poor and died poor. |
